BAMP forging ahead

The Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners (BAMP) is seeking wise counsel and guidance to chart their path forward.
A statement released today by BAMP notes that with Christmas Day being celebrated tomorrow, the association continues to be in the headlines in a “negative light”.
“We at BAMP have sought to give guidance and wise counsel to those that would chart the path for our Institution and, through negotiations and good judgement, we trust that such will be the case.
“We hope and pray that the season of Christmas which is at the focal point of this season and  which is held dear by the Christian faith and championed by priests, would emanate throughout those at the helm of our premier institution, giving them good judgment for wise and just actions,” according to statement, signed by President Carlos Chase.
It added: “We pray that the wisdom of Solomon would flow to fill the cups of those that are empty setting them on the right course of a people centred, patient friendly, employee friendly policy making path in the new year”.
BAMP said they will continue to put the welfare of the citizens and residents of Barbados first “as we engage in dialogue”.
