Police updates on deaths

Inspector David Welch of the Royal Barbados Police force says a man is currently assisting police with investigations into the shooting death of Sheldon Obrian Taylor, 28 years, of Lodge Road, Christ Church which occurred about 9:30 pm on Wednesday at Silver Hill, Christ Church.  
He said Taylor succumbed to his injuries at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday morning.
The Public Relations Officer also updated on the altercation which took place on Wednesday between three men at Halls Road, St. Michael that resulted in the deaths of Roderick R. Jones of Redman Village, St. Thomas and Christopher J. Charles. 
He said the third man was developed as a person of interest and was taken into custody. 
Welch said: “In the given circumstances from the investigation and legal advice, no criminal charges will be preferred against that man”.
