LAST NIGHT Member of Parliament (MP) Denis Lowe was reported to be feeling “much better” although he remained in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).
The Minister of Environment, Water Resources and Drainage was admitted to the QEH on December 30, and it was reported then that he was suffering with respiratory and kidney problems.
He was said to be in “serious condition”, and that he could be away from work for an extended period.
Since then, Ambassador to CARICOM Denis Kellman, MP for St Lucy, was sworn in to act in the ministerial post.
Yesterday evening, a close family member told the WEEKEND NATION that she had visited Lowe in the morning and that he was feeling better. (CG)
