Joel, Nicoia top of the class

Joel Manning and Nicoia Maxwell are the new Mr Queen’s College and Miss Queen’s College 2011, respectively.
The students of the Husbands, St James school won these titles at the school’s annual pageant, which was held at the school last Saturday night. The competition, with the theme Arctic Lights, included nine contestants.
Manning also won the Best Casual Wear, Best Formal Wear and Best Talent categories and the People’s Choice award amongst the males. Maxwell also captured the award for Best Casual Wear (female).
Kiara Forde, who was first runner-up, won the Best Talent (female) and Best Formal Wear (female). 
Meanwhile, first runner-up position in the male section was taken by Dario Ward, who was also awarded Mr Congeniality. Second runner among the females was Gabrielle Cumberbatch and second runner-up (male) was Kevon Clarke.
