DEAR CHRISTINE: Still need bed, baby things
I am one of your regular readers and admire the good work you are doing. I am asking for a little help.
I am six months pregnant and staying with a friend who has three bedrooms. I also have a three-year-old daughter.
I was living in a house with my mother and sister but there was not enough room, so I had to share a bed with my mother, daughter and disabled nephew. This is why I am asking for help.
I need a bed and some baby things so that my daughter and I can be comfortable staying at my friend.?She likes having me around because we were friends from young. She lives by herself so that is why she asked me to stay with her.
I would like to thank you and hope you would be able to help me in any way possible with the bed; that is what I need the most but I still need everything else. Thanks in advance.
– In Need
Dear In Need,
Your desire to have your own things is understandable and to be expected. For though you are grateful for your friend’s invitation to stay with her, you would still not want to have to depend on her generosity more than you need to.
It’s a pity that you did not specify, other than the bed, some of the things that you would like to have. That way people would know precisely what you are seeking.
I would suggest you contact us by telephone and ask for the editor who works with Christine and relay your needs to that person.
That individual would then be able to direct those who call us or email their desire to assist you to exactly what you want. Please make that call as soon as possible.
I would also have liked to get more information about you, such as your age, whether you work or would want to work.
It’s not that I’m nosy; rather I like to get as much information on those who write seeking assistance, so if a job opening occurs and we are alerted, we can send those who we know have an interest in that line of work for the interview.
So please call us with the additional information we are seeking.
