Prime Minister Freundel Stuart says he hasn’t been as silent on issues as some have been saying.
During a televised interview tonight at 8 with CBC’s Rosemary Alleyne, Stuart said he addressed the nation at Independence, and again at Christmas and gave his perspective on what was going on in the world and in Barbados.
He said he has addressed the hoteliers, as well as the Barbados Chamber of Commerce in January.
“I have been talking on various issues across Barbados,” he said.
Stuart said he has his own style of leadership, adding that he will not feel pressured by comparisons to other leaders.
“My style has not changed in politics,” he said, noting he did not see why he should change it at this time.
Stuart said Barbados would get to know him and his style, adding: “I don’t covet anyone else’s style” he said.
