Crowd enjoys Vintage hits
The Digicel Vintage Reggae Show and Dance is like fine wine, getting better with age, some say.
For those who attended last night’s show at the Wildey Gymnasium, this seemed to be the case as they were the familiar faces who usually frequent the annual show, which is part of the Digicel Reggae Festival.
Patrons packed the Gymnasium to hear thrilling performances from the likes of Boris Gardener, Barrington Levy, Ken Boothe and Eric Donaldson. Biggie Irie, Lil’ Rick, Alvin Toppin and Admiral were also there.
Many were on the floor dancing the familiar tunes, mostly old reggae hits, while others simply sang along. (CM)
