Legend: No ordinary man

Lights, hundreds of cameras and John Legend was the action.
Fresh from a performance at the St Lucia Jazz Festival last weekend, Legend had hundreds of fans on their feet when he took to the stage at the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex last night singing favourite hits like When I Used To Love You and Quickly. The show got off to a great start with our own Philip 7 and Masala.
Philip 7 was in fine form as he sang some of his own tracks and some covers. He was joined by Betty Griffith for I Need You Now, but the real beautiful surprise was when he was joined by the 72-voice St Leonard’s Boys’ Choir for Blame It On Love. (YB)
