It will be a fantasy and an experience all wrapped up in one for Grand Kadooment.
That’s what Amanda Reifer is promising revelers jumping with her band Fantasy Barbados.
Reifer launched three of the six sections of her band last night at the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination.
The guys and gals were all decked out in the colourful and beaded costumes portraying the spectacle and revelry of Kadooment.
“It will be a new world, gorgeous costumes and an experience on the road,” said the beaming band leader at the media launch.
Reifer expects to have a 500 strong band which carries the theme Animal Fantasy.
She said the official launch of her band will take place on Friday.
Some familiar faces were spotted Out and About at last night’s media launch, including Principal of the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, Sir Hilary Beckles, cricketer Floyd Reifer and Russell Grant of the group Bash Brothers.
