Drugs seized

Two Barbadians and a Vincentian are in police custody following a drug bust of more than 1 370 pounds of marijuana at Broadley, St John today.
An operation which started last night and ran into the wee hours of today unearthed several ganja packages concealed in a bushy area of the district.
The drug bust was carried out by the Drug Squad and combined forces of the RSS, Barbados Defence Force (BDF) and Coast Guard personnel.
The Drug Squad also conducted an operation today at Jezreel, St Philip where they found 140 marijuana plants ranging between six inches and seven feet tall.
No one has been arrested in connection with the illegal find. (TS)
