Industrial action at Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport have forced LIAT to cancel flights bound for that destination for the second day.
Today, a release from LIAT’s Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown noted that the go slow at the import was negatively affecting the airline’s services to that airport, as well as the rest of the LIAT network.
The affected flights today are LI 761/760, LI 727 and LI 726.
He noted that LI 787 and LI 373 will operate into Grenada this evening as scheduled.
“Customers affected by the disruptions who wish to rebook for a later date will be allowed to do so without charge for a period of one week from the date of their scheduled travel. Following the one-week grace period, passengers will be required to pay applicable fare and change fees when re-booking,” he explained in the release. (PR)
