There will be a number of temporary traffic changes which will go into effect from tomorrow when Parliament convenes for presentations this week on the Financial Statement and Budgetary Proposals.
A notice from Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch today noted that the changes, which will continue until Friday, will run from 6 a.m. until the end of each day’s sitting.
“No parking will be permitted along Rickett Street, High Street or within the immediate precincts of the Parliament Buildings. Parking for members of staff of the Parliament Buildings will be permitted at Palmetto Square and along the right side of Palmetto Street.
“Police officers in uniform will be deployed about the area and members of the public are requested to comply with the instructions given by these officers. Failure to comply may result in prosecution” stated the release. (PR)
