PEOPLE?HOLDING?FETES and car park jams may experience some delays in getting approval of permits to play loud music.
That’s because senior police officers will now be reviewing all applications.
This was announced by Commissioner of Police Darwin Dottin yesterday during a Press conference at Police Headquarters, Roebuck Street, on the state of crime.
Lamenting that a “fete mentality” was being created here with fetes every weekend, Dottin conceded “we can’t control them”. (MB/LK)
