No more Internet disruptions
CUSTOMERS using the Internet services provided by TeleBarbados should not experience any further disruption in service.
This assurance came from executive vice-president of TeleBarbados, Patrick Hinkson.
For most of the day yesterday a number of customers reportedly experienced very slow or inaccessible Internet connections.
Hinkson told the MIDWEEK NATION the slow speed of Internet connections was due to “a major problem” that affected the subsea fibre optics cables between St Croix and Miami.
He said, however, the problem had been rectified and “there should be no other problems”.
Efforts to find out if other Internet service providers had similar complaints were unsuccessful. (MM)
