REDjet to solve Guyana issues
REDjet is examining ways to improve communication with its passengers in Guyana.
Passengers looking to fly out of Guyana have complained about travelling long distances to discover that the flight to Barbados had been changed to a much earlier time and are left “stranded”.
Communication executive Nyssa Pierre explained that Internet penetration in Guyana was an issue, and that a number of passengers did not have access to email.
“We are looking, right now, into exploring different ways that we can penetrate the radio airwaves and some television as well, because Guyana is more heavily reliant on their radio network. That is something we’re looking into for Guyana . . .” said Pierre.
