Reception pupils of Mount Tabor Primary School will return to brightly painted classrooms on Monday.
When the WEEKEND NATION team visited the St John school yesterday, members of the Pride Of Wilson Hill Community And Folk Singers group were busy applying a fresh coat of paint to the walls of the three Reception classrooms.
Ian McCollin, vice-president of the group, said the project was part of their community service initiatives. McCollin himself and five other members undertook the painting, which is expected to be completed today.
The paint and painting supplies were donated by Express Hardware and W. E. Jemmott Construction.
