Fantastic music, spectacular lighting, amazing special effects and an incredible ambience in one package.
That’s the awesome combination which The Music Factory promises to deliver when it brings together 20 top DJs from around the world for Barbados’ first ever pop, dance and house music festival.
The Music Factory, located at the car park near Willoughby Fort, opens its doors at 5 p.m. on November 29 to host a DJ-based concert that promises to be an experience unlike anything ever seen in Barbados, as the phenomenon of pop/dance/house music festivals currently sweeping the globe finally reaches these shores.
The Music Factory will showcase DJs from Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica, New York, Miami and London playing the biggest tracks currently rocking dance floors at the world’s leading clubs. They will blend wicked remixes of mainstream pop music with the funky beats and massive drops of the dance and house music scenes.
The local music festival aims to follow the footsteps of major festivals around the world like Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, Las Vegas’ Electric Daisy Carnival, Creamfields and Global Gathering in Britain and Tomorrowland in Belgium.
Festival hosts Illusions Entertainment, spearheaded by director Craig Corrie, are the recognized leaders of the dance music movement in Barbados and will be working closely with the phenomenal design team at Barbados’ leading special event design house, Events Unusual.
Director Emma Corrie has previously created extraordinary settings for Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams and Gloria Estefan and promises to deliver a multi-sensory treat for patrons. (PR)
