Hutson: Redjet jumped the gun

REDjet’s application to fly the Barbados-St Lucia route is still under consideration – it has not been dismissed.
In fact, the application from the Barbadian-based low-budget airline could be discussed at Cabinet’s weekly meeting tomorrow.
Minister of International Transport and International Business George Hutson made these disclosures yesterday.
He was responding to comments by St Lucia’s Minister of Tourism Allen Chastanet, who told reporters it appeared that while a licence to fly the route “was promised, it was not approved”. (CMC/TY)
