Pensioner’s home collapses

This ruin used to provide a comfortable rest for Torrence Goddard before his world came crashing down.
The first floor of the house he shares with his younger sister Yvette in Chapman Street, The City, collapsed last year drastically altering their already volatile existence.
Tropical Storm Tomas caused major damage to many houses last year, including the Goddards’, but their issues go back decades.
They have had three crashes to the dilapidated structure in the last year that have left them more exposed to the elements and the two pensioners are desperately looking for somewhere to call home before Christmas. (YB)
