Locals stand to benefit

Barbados is being developed primarily for the benefit of Barbadians.
Stressing the point as he welcomed visitors at an Ilaro Court reception Wednesday night, Prime Minister Freundel Stuart stated: “We continue to develop Barbados in such a way that our own nationals can continue to feel as comfortable as possible here.”
And he encouraged visitors to take advantage of such development as Barbadians shared it with them.
“If they (Barbadians) do not feel comfortable when you come, they cannot make you feel comfortable. It is important to make Barbadians feel an important part of the island’s development.”
