THE Barbados Association of Principals of Secondary Schools (BAPSS) is pleased that striking Alexandra School teachers will be returning to work tomorrow.
The union, which backed principal Jeff Broomes in the impasse with the Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union, said in a brief statement yesterday to Starcom Network that they were satisfied with Prime Minister Freundel Stuart’s decision as the children’s education has always been their top priority.
“From Day 1 we were always concerned over the disadvantage that the students would have been experiencing. So I feel very pleased that the students at long last would get the much needed education,” said president Winston Crichlow. (SP)
