Jones knocks play
BARBADOS FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (BFA)?president Ronald Jones has pulled a yellow card on the two recent out-of-season tournaments which offered big cash prizes totalling nearly $250 000.
In the wake of the LIME/Pelican Challenge and the David Thompson Memorial Inter-Parish tournaments, Jones, who is also Minister of Education, stressed that while players should be rewarded for their efforts, there was need for greater focus on quality.
