Security guard released

The security guard who was being questioned in connection with an injury to a primary school student has been released.
Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch said the still unidentified man had been freed pending further investigation.
Mileek Goodman, 8, underwent emergency surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital last Saturday for a serious injury to his left eye. He will be out of school for two weeks as a result.
The child was allegedly struck in the face with a metal object after accidentally hitting a security guard with a cricket ball. (YB)
