The search continues for an elderly St Lucy man missing since Thursday, February 23.
David Bishop, 72, formerly of Pie Corner, a ward of the Roy Wardeen Nursing Home in Friendly Hall in the same parish, reportedly walked off the compound of the home about 11:35 p.m.
Since then his son Dwight Bishop, members of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) churches in the north, concerned friends and the police have been searching for him.
Volunteers from the Cave Hill SDA church in St Lucy and Pastor Dexter Walkes yesterday combed Oistins, Christ Church, distributing flyers after reports that the elderly man had been sighted in the area.
Dwight and his brother Davidson, who came in from Bermuda to help find his father, appealed to the public for their continued assistance in helping to locate his father. Anyone with information cmay contact Dwight himself at 253-5080, the nearest police station, or call the police emergency number 211. (RL)
