STUDENTS, TEACHERS and other people worshipping at the St James Parish Church have been encouraged to practise charity.
In addition, Catholic priest Monsignor Vincent Blackett urged them to show concern about the welfare of others daily.
Blackett, a past pupil of the Alleyne School, was delivering a sermon as the school celebrated 95 years as a co-educational institution with a service last Sunday morning.
“We must improve our spiritual lives during this Lenten Season and improve in our charity,” he said.
