PUDDING & SOUSE: Sleeping on the job

It is the culture of a certain government employee to do more sleeping than working on the job everyday.
This woman eats breakfast at her desk around 9 a.m., then sleeps until lunchtime, even at the desk of her best friend, who just happens to be the boss.
This cultural activity resumes after lunch, when she walks around the office. Afterwards she takes her afternoon nap, getting up just before 4:30 p.m – when it’s time to go home.
Her colleagues want to know how she officially accounts for her time when she is sleeping so much.
Maybe she is following her leader, who also delights in pushing her work to junior staff.
No wonder these two are always walking and holding hands, swinging like a young couple in love!
City woman scorned
A very dangerous woman who comes from a popular city district and works at a bank can’t seem to get over her heartache after being dumped by her daughter’s father.
The man apparently got so tired of being tormented by her that he has moved on with a young entrepreneur.
The malicious woman, who drives  and loves to gossip about other people, has now become the talk of the town. Her friends are saying that she should get on with her life and accept that her child-bearing days are over.
They also want her to stop focusing on the man who left her and attend to her teenage daughter, who is sleeping with a certain bad boy from the area.
Keeping up appearances
When a patron fell ill while dining at what is considered one of the top restaurants, it seemed that management was more concerned about its reputation than getting the poor customer medical attention.
Diners who witnessed the scene were very concerned when the chief cook and bottle-washer rushed the vomiting patron to the bathroom so as to get the person out of customers’ sight.
But what was more disturbing was that instead of calling an ambulance, a taxi was summoned to transport the unwell patron back to the hotel.
Upset staff say this was not the first time that the head honcho had tried to hide the negativity that takes place at this well-appointed restaurant.
They say it is a good thing that guests don’t get to see the mice and cockroaches that have taken up residence in the kitchen.
They are saying that if this information ever got out, it would crush this boss, who has been able to convince tourism authorities that his establishment is the place to be when it comes to fine dining.
The great family divide
Death in the family is supposed bring relatives closer together, but in this particular case it has caused a great divide.
The patriarch was not even put in his grave when talk started to swirl about a big lawsuit and taking the roof from over his wife’s head.
People who know the intimate details of the situation say the family members who are talking about a lawsuit should be ashamed since they all got hundreds of thousands of dollars from the old man.
Everyone knows that they never liked his young wife but after spending so many years by the old man’s side, through thick and thin, why can’t the family respect her for at least being a dutiful wife?
