Project to help men on the way

A PROJECT to combat the escalating numbers of men incarcerated, infected by HIV/AIDS, liming on the block; and involved in deviant, demeaning and criminal behaviour is on its way.
It will also address issues such as professional men investing their time and monies in strip bars and exotic massage parlours.
The One Man A Month project is the collaborative effort of several Barbadian key stakeholders, an innovative evangelistic tool born out of concern for the welfare and well-being of married and single men, and professional and non-professional men.
Rev. Dr Lucille Baird, of Mount Zion’s Missions Inc., who is the brainchild behind the project, said at a Press conference yesterday, at the Parents Education For Development In Barbados’ (PAREDOS’) Claire Gardens, Roebuck Street headquarters, that the programme was designed to touch as many males as possible.
