Spiritual pilgimage

Deacon Everton Clarke of the Sons of God Apostolic Church received the cross in the second of 14 Stations of the Cross.
The activity formed part of the church’s commemoration of Good Friday.
The object of the Stations is to help the faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage of prayer through meditating upon the chief scenes of Christ’s sufferings and death.
It is often performed in a spirit of reparation for the sufferings and insults that Jesus endured during His Passion.
Here, Deacon Clarke offering words of prayer along Baxters Road, before moving on along the route that proceeded across Bridgetown.
