Prime Minister Freundel Stuart has issued a condolence statement following the death of former employee of the Urban Development Commission, Nicole Harrison-Wtason.
Harrison-Watson, 37, was found dead at her Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St Michael last Saturday.
“As Minister with responsibility for the Urban Development Commission, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the Director and Staff of the UDC  as well as the wider UDC family, on the tragic and senseless loss of their co-worker, Nicole Harrison-Watson, a young and vibrant mother.
“I wish also to offer sincere condolences to her family, and pray that God will give them the strength that they will need at this testing time.
Events like these sadden our nation and strengthen the calls for increased efforts to build relationships at all levels, to prevent these heinous crimes from becoming too frequent an occurrence on our normally peaceful landscape.” (GIS)
