Twelve of the most creative and talented young people have graduated from The Ann Hill school last Friday to go to various institutions on our island – the Children’s Development Centre, Skills Training, Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic, or the Barbados Youth Service – that will continue to assist their future development.
In her remarks, principal Daphlyn Browne advised the graduands to conduct themselves in an orderly manner, be respectful, love themselves, continue being courteous, and ask God to continue to bless them.
“As you transition from Ann Hill to pursue your various dreams, remember that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you,” she said.
Turning to the parents, the principal asked them to “please continue to share and show the love that you have been showing to your children/wards over the years and you need to love them more than ever, especially during these difficult economic and testing times”.
