Traffic rules for Foreday morning

The Foreday Morning Jump-Up is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 4th August 2012 commencing at 1 am, according to Police Inspector David Welch.
The bands will form up and move off from the three following locations:

The BTI Car Park, Lower Bay Street;
The Helipad at Hincks Street; and the
BIDC Car Park.

The route is:  Lower Fairchild Street, Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge, Wharf Road, Hincks Street, Princess Alice Highway, Prescod Boulevard, Elsie Payne Roundabout and onto Spring Garden Highway, terminating on Spring Garden Highway at its junction with 1st Ave Spring Garden in the vicinity of Workbench Furniture.
To facilitate this event a number of temporary traffic arrangements shall be in effect between 1 am and 7 am.
Spring Garden Highway from its junction with Holborn Circle to its junction with Brighton Road shall be closed to all vehicular traffic except vehicles used by members of the Crop Over Festival Committee and emergency vehicles.
Brighton Road shall be a one way street with traffic flowing in the direction of Black Rock Main Road.
No person shall park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary on any of the following roads except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers:-

Brighton Road
Black Rock Main Road from its junction with University Drive to its junction with Eagle Hall
Deacons Farm Road from its junction with Deacons Road to its junction with Brighton Road
Deacons Road
Westbury Road

All persons using the roads mentioned shall exercise caution and shall comply with any order given by a member of the Police Force in uniform.
Any person who contravenes these rules or fails to comply with any order given by a member of the Police Force in uniform, is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction is a fine of $500 or to imprisonment for a term of 3 months.
