TWO PARISH CHURCHES were robbed of public address systems costing thousands of dollars in the space of two days.
Both the St Andrew’s parish church and St Lucy’s are reporting the loss of amplifiers and microphones to brazen thieves in what Anglican Vicar General Dr Frank Marshall is calling a sad sign of the times.
At the St Lucy Parish Church, priest in charge Reverend Curtis Goodridge said the break-in was discovered when he attempted to hold service yesterday morning.
“. . . When we assembled for our worship service, an attempt was made to use the microphone and it was realized it was not working. (RL/CA)
