Share post:

The future of the Barbados economy is in the hands of its citizens.
This is according to Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados Dr DeLisle Worrell, who stated that every Barbadian had the ability to protect the island’s foreign reserves and help grow the economy.
His comments came while addressing the Rotary Club of Barbados’ lunchtime meeting at the Accra Beach Hotel yesterday. The topic was The Current State Of The Barbados Economy And The Way Forward.
The Central Bank Governor said the growth of the economy would not be sustained unless there was “additional foreign exchange coming in”. (MM)
