MAINTAINING A STRONG relationship with its partners, the National Assistance Board (NAB) has achieved much success in its obligations and commitments to the elderly and other vulnerable populations.
Speaking during the board’s 32nd Anniversary Dinner And Awards Ceremony at Hilton Barbados, Needhams Point, St Michael, last Saturday, Minister of Social Care Steven Blackett said the NAB wished to maintain and further develop the cooperation and working relationships it had with its partners.
“In keeping with the theme for this year – Caring For Our Nation Builders With Pride And Excellence – the members of staff of [NAB] take pride in the excellent service which they provide to the elderly, our nation builders.
“However, I can assure you that this could not have been accomplished without the assistance of several partners from among corporate Barbados, non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations, and members of civil society . . . . (AH)
