Customs head for lie detector tests

There is a proposal for customs officers to undergo polygraph (lie detector) tests.
 And, it has the backing of Comptroller of Customs Frank Holder.
“It has been proposed for some time in the future and will come in for much discussion because it could affect conditions of service, but [it] has my support,” Holder told the WEEKEND?NATION.
“National security is very important and things that are required for national security must be supported. No question about it.
“If it is a requirement for us to be truly international, then we have to meet the international standards,” Holder said.
