THE BARBADOS FIRE SERVICE (BFS) is reporting its health extravaganza as a success.
Secretary of the Fire Service Week planning committee, Fire Officer Carlos Husbands said he was pleased with the turnout.
“I think the turnout was excellent so far. We decided to invite the public this year as well as last year and we asked the surrounding businesses to come over,” he said.
On Sunday, Husbands said he was concerned the public was not showing its support for the service’s annual week of activities so he had hoped their advertising efforts would drum up interest this time around. (CA)
