A partnership that came together and won.
That was the experience of St Joseph representatives Rommel Marshall and Kimberley Knight who carried off the prestigious title of Most Outstanding Parish Ambassadors 2012 after a year-long preparation for the grand finale at The Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex on Saturday night.
The occasion was the Spirit Of The Nation Show and couples representing the 11 parishes turned up for a keenly contested battle, trying to build on the percentages that they had brought forward.
In the end Marshall and Knight were well received by the audience as the most outstanding ambassadors. It was also a good night for the entire St Joseph contingent, who took the titles Attendant Of The Year, Parish Project Committee Of The Year and Committee Of The Year.
