HARRISON COLLEGE wasn’t about to let Queen’s College steal their joy.
Not again.
After relinquishing the girls’ title to their arch-rivals from Husbands last year, the boys and girls from Crumpton Street returned with a vengeance to do the double when the Powerade Secondary Inter-Schools’ Swimming Championships Finals climaxed at the Aquatic Centre yesterday.
Led by an outstanding performance from 16-year-old Gabriel Gunby, the HC lads blew away the competition on their way to capturing their 19th title, amassing 300.5 points, well ahead of surprise second-place finishers The St Michael School, on 187 points, with QC third on 149.
