Three people will appear in court this morning to answer the charge of aggravated burglary after breaking into Natasha Variety on Black Rock Main Road, St Michael on Saturday morning.
The three charged yesterday are Renee Latoya Lucas, 23, of Deacons Court, St Michael, Shanice Shontelle Burgess, 19 of Kendall Hill B, Christ Church and Niko Anthony Antonio James, 21 of Grazettes Main Road, St Michael.
In a release today, police said: “On Saturday morning, two men one armed a sword and the other with a knife, entered the store and held up the female cashier and a male employee. The perpetrators stole a sum of money and left with their female accomplices who were outside waiting”.
It was the quick action by personnel from the Black Rock Station that led to the three being caught close to the area where the crime was committed.
