LAST?WEEK we read about the “The People’s Health and Well-Being Party” (PHWP) and their landside victory over the “Grease Unholistic and Unhealthy Party GUUP”.
This week Parliament is in progress and Barbadian Silent Doctor corn has been selected to be the Prime Minister.  Barbadian Golden Apple, the GG, will deliver the Throne Speech.
The portfolios are as follows:– Deputy Leader & Arthritis Minister – Cabbage;  Senator Cerasee – Skin Problems; Senator Gully Root – Impotence;  Senator Pomegranate – Cancer & Stress; Senator Blue Vervain-  Diabetes;  Senator Poor Man’s Pork – Hiccups; Senator Rosemary – Hair Loss & Memory;  Senator Aloe Vera – HIV;  Senator Turmeric –High  Cholesterol; Senator Bloodroot – Sickle Cell Anaemia; Senator Cayenne Pepper – Cleansing & Immune Building; Senator Okra – Constipation; Senator Grapefruit –Weight Loss; & Senator Eddoes – HBP.
Madam President, Ministers and Members of the silent doctor community, this Parliament is now duly constituted and the advantage of holistic healing will become more evident. I will now outline the plans of the silent doctors.
The silent doctors have recognized the urgency for healing and better health from the cries of the populace.
My Government’s interest was further sparked through an online article titled Meat Consumption and Mortality. It was conducted by scientists across ten European countries with a sample of 450 000 participants.  Consumed processed meats included sausages, ham and bacon, while cancer and heart disease were main causes of death.
It was revealed that “consuming high amounts of the breakfast favourite and other processed meats can raise your risk of premature death by 44 per cent”.
My Government, fully aware of the health challenges, will employ the following measures in the areas of health. The construction of a modern health care facility with a gym catering to those who prefer holistic treatment. Non-holistic and acid foods have detrimental consequences. Therefore holistic soups, green beverages etc. will be served.
Nutrition counselling will be part of the rehabilitation programme. My Government plans to reduce its importation of processed meats by 75 per cent which will bring savings of $500 million over the next three years.
My government will also ensure that our agricultural extension officers visit communities to empower the residents about kitchen gardens and ‘to know how to grow”.
Exercise will be high on the agendaNext week concludes the Throne Speech.
