THE 2013 ESTIMATES of Revenue and Expenditure will be the first order of business for Prime Minister Freundel Stuart’s new Government today.
The annual Appropriations Bill, which determines how much and where Government’s financing will be allocated in the financial year, is expected to be laid by Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler.
Today’s sitting will be the first since Stuart led the Democratic Labour Party to a close 16-14 victory at the polls in the February 21 general election.
The first sitting of Parliament officially starts the constitutional five-year term of any Government in Barbados.
