Five to answer drug charges today

Five men will appear in court today in connection with the drugs seized at Fitts Village, St James on Sunday.
A total of 2 044 drugs was netted.
A release from the police this morning noted that Marlon Anthony Smith, 33, of Storey Gap, Codrington Hill, St Michael; Colvin Ishmael Brathwaite, 41, of Gibbons Boggs, Christ Church; Neverline Rohan Oneal Springer, 31, of Long Gap, Spooners Hill, St Michael and Dwayne Omar Reeves, 30, of Stevenson Road, Delamere Land, St Michael and Wayne Michael Charles, 43, of Ellis Road, Halls Road, St Michael will appear in Holetown Court.
They have been jointly charged for unlawful possession a controlled drug, cannabis (2044 pounds), possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.
Smith is also charged for the additional offences of illegal possession  of a firearm and importation of a firearm without a licence. (CM/PR)
