Trevor Farley put his coaching on hold and asserted his authority on the competitive table to help Fast Loopers secure a crucial 3-2 win against Mount Gay Bayswater when Premier League Table Tennis continued on Saturday night.
Farley broke a 2-2 tie when he toppled Dennis France 11-7, 11-9, 11-7 at the Table Tennis Centre, Nursery Drive, St Michael. He had earlier put his side on course for victory by beating his younger brother, Kevin, 11-8, 13-11, 11-5.
Paco Moss surprised Aaron Barker in a compelling contest 11-8, 6-11, 2-11, 11-2, 11-6 to level the scoreline 1-1, but Barker joined Russell Maxwell to put the Loopers back in front by winning the doubles against France and Moss.
The left-handed Kevin Farley then downed Maxwell 3-1 to set up the fifth game decider.
