STUDENTS of The People’s Cathedral’s Primary School displayed their creativity yesterday during their annual Science Fair Gala.
The exhibition took place this year in the Ministerial and Educational Resource Centreof the New Testament Church of God, River Road, Bridgetown, as principal Kenroy Burke said it was growing and a larger venue was necessary.
The exhibits featured many themes such as the human senses, leaf growth, windmills and salt crystallization.
One interesting project was done by the trio of Nathanial Layne and twins Tre and Tyrese Robinson. They created biogas using manure, then showed how it could be ignited to cook.
The Robinsons proved cow manure made more biogas than rabbit or sheep waste. Layne set up the burner, with a little help from his mother Vera Layne. (CA)
