YOUNG PEOPLE are being encouraged to practise positive peer pressure in order to promote things Bajan.
They are being told that the brand called “Bajan” is something that they should be proud of and seek to promote.
This encouragement came from senior education officer in the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Joy Adamson, as she spoke to scores of secondary school students, who gathered at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, to attend An Explosion Of Bajan Spirit, presented by the Barbados Manufacturers Association (BMA) and the Brands Of Barbados campaign.
“Students, you are young people today. Tomorrow you will be the adults of Barbados. You will have to carry that legacy. And what I would want is that it is a positive legacy. You probably don’t shop as much as your parents or adults but you do shop. (AH)
