Judge to meet Garcia keepers

A HIGH COURT JUDGE will personally interview the Barbadians who plan to make their homes available to Cuban Raul Garcia upon his eventual release. 
Justice Margaret Reifer decided that eventual living arrangements for Garcia will be discussed in chambers of the No. 9 Supreme Court on April 15.
If all goes well after that 2 p.m. hearing, Garcia could finally walk out of the Supreme Court a free man.
Justice Reifer met privately this morning with Garcia’s attorney-at-law David Comissiong and lawyers from the Solicitor General’s Chambers and the Immigration Department to finalize details for the April 15 hearing.
