IT IS OBVIOUS she loves to dance and every time someone struck up a chord, centenarian Daisy Mahon moved, swayed and clapped witha bright smile onher face.
Yesterday, Barbados’ newest centenarian was visited by Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave and manyfamily members and friends at her Brandons, St Michael home.
The mother of 12 children, two of whom are still alive, said she felt quite all right as she reached the milestone, while reminding everyone that she does not feel100 years old.
However, her daughter Angela Mahon recalled her mother as someone who was always moving. (LK)
