CIBC chief: Cooperation key

A distinguished cadre of presenters and delegates were in The Bahamas a week ago to attend CIBC?FirstCaribbean International Bank’s first Infrastructure Conference entitled Public Private Partnerships In?Infrastructure Development And Financing.
The event was held at the Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island.
Among the local representatives from the public and private sectors were Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Senator Darcy Boyce, as well as executives from Williams Industries, Infrastructure Solutions Inc., C.O. Williams Construction, and the Caribbean?Development Bank.
“Within an environment of slow economic recovery worldwide, cooperation between the private sector, public sector and financial services community is becoming increasingly important,” Rik Parkhill, CIBC FirstCaribbean’s chief executive officer, told the conference. (GE)
