BEER IS THE choice alcoholic beverage of most Barbadians.
And Banks Breweries, the island’s leading beer producer continues to be the favourite taste despite stiff competition from the regional imports of Hairoun from St Vincent, Stag from Trinidad and Tobago and Heineken from St Lucia.
With the Crop Over season just finished, and although exact figures were not immediately available, Banks beer sales have surpassed last year’s tally for the same period.
“We are still counting but definitely we will have better sales this year than last year’s,” said Bernard Frost, Group Marketing Manager of Banks Holdings Limited.
