Barbadian-born Peter Fenty, who was recently installed as a Bishop in the Diocese of Toronto, Canada, delivered a sermon to the congregation of All Souls’ Anglican Church yesterday.
Fenty, the first person from All Souls to be ordained a priest in 1975, told the DAILY NATION that it was a special occasion for him to deliver the sermon at his home church for the first time since he became bishop.
Here, Bishop Fenty blessing one of the young members of the congregation as Rector of the church, Reverend Coleridge Darlington (background), sings during the service.
